As executive vice president, consumer products, licensing and global experiences, for National Geographic Partners, Andrew Reif has oversight of National Geographic’s global brand licensing, international media licensing, e-commerce/catalog, location-based entertainment and National Geographic Live! businesses.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the licensing, consumer products, media and entertainment industries, Reif came to National Geographic from IP Global Group, a global licensing and branding company, where he served as partner. Prior to that, he was chief executive officer at Championship Gaming Series, LLC, where he launched and provided executive leadership for a global, professional video gaming league, with events and television programming in the United States, Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Previously, Reif was chief operating officer and chief financial officer at AVP Inc., where he successfully completed the acquisitions of the men’s and women’s professional beach volleyball tours and combined them into a single, unified sports entity. During his tenure, he helped grow professional beach volleyball into one of the fastest growing sports in the United States.
Earlier in his career, Reif held senior leadership positions at Digital Media Campus, Baldwin/Cohen Productions, International Creative Management and Paramount Pictures.
Reif received a B.S. in commerce from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
