NEW YORK (Jan. 4, 2007)–National Geographic Kids magazine has partnered with Wendy’s on a national Kids’ Meal promotion to celebrate popular content from the magazine. NG Kids magazine features, including undersea adventures, bats, African safari, ancient Egypt and world masks, will be brought to life through fun toys and miniature magazines. Wendy’s Kids’ Meals will be served with five unique toys and minimags and a special NG Kids magazine subscription offer from late January through February 2007. Wendy’s also will run one advertising page in the February 2007 issue of National Geographic Kids.
“We are thrilled to partner with Wendy’s on their national Kids’ Meal campaign. Just as Wendy’s offers ‘smart choices,’ so does National Geographic Kids magazine. Our fun facts and games provide something engaging and educational for the entire family, whether on the road or sitting around the kitchen table,” said National Geographic Kids Vice President and Publisher Rainer Jenss.
