Executive Vice President, Catalog and Online Store - National Geographic Partners
Tom Burke is the executive vice president of catalog and online store for National Geographic Partners. As head of the division, Burke is responsible for its overall strategic direction and growth, and he oversees all aspects of marketing, merchandising and distribution of National Geographic’s catalog and e-commerce business.
Burke has more than 20 years of online, e-commerce, marketing, analytical and financial experience. Prior to joining National Geographic, he most recently served as the chief marketing officer for AutoEurope.com, the e-commerce division of Auto Europe Group. In that role, Burke led the online marketing and e-commerce teams, focusing on American, Australian and European customers. He has also held senior positions in e-commerce and marketing at Scholastic Inc., Barnes & Noble Inc. and Discovery Channel.
Burke began his career at Dell Publishing Company as a financial analyst and then joined Prodigy Services Company as a manager of the custom choices division. He earned his B.S. and MBA degrees from New York University.
